BJP Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj has taken a stand against the Delhi Jal Board, raising concerns about the ongoing water crisis in the national capital.
BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj organized a large protest against the Delhi government regarding the drinking water crisis in the city. Bansuri worte a message on her X handle, “Despite warnings from the IMD in March about the impending heatwave, the Kejriwal government failed to take any action, revealing their lack of commitment to their responsibilities.”
The water shortage in Delhi is a manufactured crisis for which the Kejriwal government bears full responsibility. Despite Haryana providing an adequate supply of water, 40 percent of it is being wasted due to the negligence of the Delhi government in failing to conduct necessary repair work over the past decade, she added.
Swaraj’s protest highlights the pressing issue of inadequate access to clean water in various parts of Delhi, impacting the daily lives of its residents. The lack of sufficient water supply has led to hardships and challenges for many people, underscoring the urgent need for effective solutions and improvements in the water distribution system.
