The Lok Sabha election campaign has now entered its concluding stage, with both political parties exerting maximum effort in Himachal Pradesh. Today, Union Minister Anurag Thakur conducted approximately 12 meetings in the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, urging citizens to cast their votes in support of the BJP. In addition to highlighting the various developmental initiatives undertaken during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 10-year tenure, the Minister also critiqued the Congress-led state government.
During a gathering in Bhari Bhalera, Hamirpur district, Union Minister Anurag Thakur welcomed numerous ex-servicemen to the BJP. Speaking to media Thakur said, “there is a growing support for the BJP due to the PM Modi’s development model.”
Union Minister Anurag Thakur responded to the allegations made by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi regarding the BJP’s role in destabilizing the state government by criticizing the Congress leadership.
Thakur said that Priyanka Gandhi was incapable of managing the internal affairs of the Congress party. He criticized the Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu-led state government for failing to deliver on promises made to women, highlighting a lack of concrete action to address their needs. Thakur also raised concerns about the proliferation of the mining mafia in the state at the expense of other industries, leading to economic challenges. He accused the government of inhibiting employment opportunities for the youth by restricting access to institutions that provide job prospects.
