Mahila Manch Pays Tribute to Indian Armed Forces, Celebrates the Success of Operation Sindoor

On Sunday, May 25, 2025, a special event titled “Salute to the Valour of the Indian Army” was organized by Mahila Manch at Jodha Mal Sarai, Dharamshala to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces. The program was dedicated to the recent success of Operation Sindoor and the unwavering courage displayed by the Indian army. The chief guest of the event was Colonel Raj Kumar Sharma (Retd.), and the keynote address was delivered by Dr. Monika Chaudhary. The program began with an introduction and a warm welcome of the guests by Vijaya Thakur.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Monika Chaudhary emphasized the strategic depth and ethical conduct of Operation Sindoor, calling it a milestone in India’s defense policy. “We have gathered here to honour the bravery of our soldiers and to acknowledge India’s strategic decisiveness and intelligence in Operation Sindoor,” She said.

She highlighted how the operation, launched on May 7, 2025, was India’s direct response to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, where 25 Hindu civilians and one Nepali resident were brutally killed. She praised the Indian military for maintaining moral integrity during the operation, ensuring no civilians were harmed—unlike Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes, which hit civilians and religious sites.

“Our response was sharp, ethical, and focused—exactly how a mature power behaves. It was not merely retaliation—it was a strategic message to the world that India will no longer tolerate terror attacks,” she added.

The highlight of the event was the address by Colonel Raj Kumar Sharma, who provided a detailed account of Operation Sindoor’s tactical brilliance. Drawing from his extensive operational experience, he offered insight into the mission’s planning and execution. He also emphasized India’s powerful response and stated that the Indian Army will continue to deliver a strong and decisive reply if any such attack occurs in the future.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Monika Bhardwaj, who expressed sincere gratitude to the esteemed guests. The program was attended by approximately 50 participants, who came together to pay tribute to the Indian Army.
