A one-day workshop was organized by the Srinivas Ramanujan Mathematics Department at the Shahpur campus of Himachal Pradesh Central University as part of Anti-Ragging Week. 

The aim of this workshop was to emphasize the institution’s commitment to promoting a safe and supportive environment for students. It discussed the “Effects of Ragging on Student Life and Career,” along with a poster-making competition. 

This workshop was organized especially for MSc students. Department Head Prof. Rakesh Kumar and all faculty members attended the event. Prof. Rakesh Kumar gave an informative lecture on the harmful effects of ragging. The event was organized by Dr. Pankaj Kumar and conducted by researcher Mandeep Kaur.

Ashima Kapoor secured first place, Chevuri Naga Raju secured second place, and Akshita-Divya Rana secured third place in the poster-making competition. 

Students actively participated in the event and expressed their zero-tolerance policy towards ragging.
